Tiffany Volz is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families build stronger relationships with themselves and with others. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, where she received extensive training in more than twenty evidence-based and theory-driven therapeutic approaches. This diverse clinical foundation allows Tiffany to tailor treatment to each client’s unique experiences, needs, and goals.
Tiffany’s therapeutic style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. She strives to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore their challenges. Her work emphasizes connection, emotional awareness, and healthy communication, helping clients better understand both themselves and the important relationships in their lives.
Tiffany often incorporates principles from Bowen Family Systems Theory into her work, guiding clients to explore family dynamics, generational patterns, and early life experiences that may influence current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By gaining insight into these patterns, clients can begin to make meaningful changes that promote healthier relationships and personal growth.
She works with individuals, couples, and families experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Tiffany approaches therapy through a trauma-informed lens, recognizing how past experiences can shape present struggles. She believes that while trauma can have a significant impact, individuals also have the capacity to grow, develop resilience, and build healthier ways of coping and connecting.
Tiffany also has experience supporting individuals navigating addiction and recovery. Through a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach, she focuses on building strong therapeutic rapport and helping clients understand the underlying emotional and relational patterns connected to their struggles. She believes that meaningful and lasting change can occur when clients feel safe, supported, and understood throughout the therapeutic process.
At Blue Nexus, Tiffany is committed to creating a welcoming and comfortable space where clients feel valued and respected. She works collaboratively with each client to support healing, strengthen relationships, and foster lasting emotional well-being.
Outside of the therapy room, Tiffany enjoys spending quality time with her family. She loves going to the beach and participating in outdoor activities, which help her feel grounded, refreshed, and connected.
