Kara Kowalski
LAC
Kara works with children, teens, and young adults, offering a warm and supportive space where clients can feel safe, understood, and supported in their growth. She takes a trauma-informed, relational approach and integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and play therapy, meeting each person where they are and adapting care to their unique needs.
She has experience supporting individuals navigating Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, OCD, ADHDH, Autism and adjustment-related challenges. Her work focuses on helping clients build practical skills, increase self-awareness, and develop a stronger sense of stability and confidence in their daily lives. Outside of the therapy room, Kara enjoys snowboarding, surfing, practicing yoga, and playing video games—activities that keep her grounded and often help her connect with clients in an authentic way!
