Elizabeth “Betsy” Dunigan

With over ten years experience, Betsy provides a warm, grounded space for individuals and couples to navigate life’s challenges. Her practice focuses on anxiety, depression, family dynamics and the unique emotional landscape of pregnancy and postpartum. Betsy also works closely with couples, helping partners build strong communication and deeper connection through difficult transitions.
Betsy’s therapeutic approach utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy and psychodynamic therapy to help clients discover the ability to help themselves. Betsy believes therapy works best as a collaborative process – one where clients feel heard, accepted and empowered. Her approach blends compassion with practical tools, meeting each client where they are at.
Betsy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional and has completed a post masters certificate program in cognitive behavioral therapy at New York University.
Betsy earned her BA from Villanova University and her MSW and MBA from Monmouth University.
Betsy has lived most of her life in Monmouth County and is a true believer in ‘love where you live’. A classic Cancerian, Betsy finds peace and happiness while being in or near the water.
