Alexandria “Allie” Golding

LAC

Alexandria Golding (“Allie”) is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in New Jersey, dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, and families in building emotional awareness, resilience, and stronger connections. With a grounded, relational, and developmentally responsive approach, she helps young people better understand and regulate their emotions while equipping them—and their caregivers—with practical tools for everyday life.

Allie works primarily with children, adolescents, and families, and is open to working with individuals across the lifespan. She commonly addresses anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, trauma, behavioral challenges, life transitions, and family communication.

Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, grounded, and practical. Allie integrates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Integrated Somatic Trauma Therapy, and other trauma-informed and developmentally responsive approaches, with a strong emphasis on mindfulness and emotional literacy. She balances deep emotional exploration with concrete skill-building, so clients leave sessions with both greater insight and actionable strategies. Allie’s goal is for every client and family to feel truly seen, respected, and empowered to navigate their journey with clarity, tools, and hope. She brings warmth, curiosity, and a genuine belief in each person’s capacity for growth to every session.

Allie believes therapy is most effective when clients feel genuinely understood and supported, while also gaining practical tools they can apply outside the room. Growth emerges through curiosity, compassion, and consistent, manageable steps toward meaningful change—helping individuals and families move from simply managing challenges to thriving with confidence, connection, and emotional resilience.

Outside of the therapy room, Allie enjoys spending time outdoors—especially at the beach—and engaging in practices that promote balance and nervous system regulation.

These personal commitments to restoration and connection deeply inform the supportive, authentic environment she helps cultivate at Blue Nexus Counseling and Wellness.
